How often should my cat see the vet?

We recommend cats come in for a full veterinary exam at least once every 6 months or once every year. This includes a tip-to-tail visual exam, weigh-in, fecal/urine/blood sampling, dental check and more. If your pet has an ongoing health issue or is a senior or kitten, then additional visits may be recommended.

How can I book an exam for my cat?

Please feel free to schedule appointments by phone or email. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your pet’s checkup.

How should I prepare my cat for their veterinary exam?

This will vary depending on your cat’s specific case. In general, we ask all patients in our care to be up-to-date on their vaccinations. If you have an outdoor cat, it may be a good idea to keep them inside overnight, especially if they have a tendency to roam. We also ask that you bring your cat in a carrier to reduce any uneasiness they may feel. As a Fear Free Certified practice, our staff have specialty training on ways to reduce stress in our patients, so please let us know in advance if your pet will need certain accommodations for their visit.
